Position Description:

NTS is seeking an Environmental Engineer with strengths in hydrogeology or hydrogeochemistry or a Hydrogeologist. Primary accountabilities include, but are not limited to:

• Groundwater modeling, groundwater quality assessments, and contaminant transport for projects related to contaminated sites;

• Environmental permit management, regulatory analysis and compliance;

• Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with clients and NTS staff; and

• Support the NTS safety program through safe work practices, policy adherence and hazard reporting, and wearing appropriate PPE.

Minimum Education Required

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering with strengths in hydrogeology and hydrogeochemistry

Minimum Experience Required

• Familiarity with permitting, environmental compliance, and water resource investigation

• Knowledge of Federal and State regulatory guidelines

• Must be highly detail-oriented

• Strong desire for continued learning and professional growth

• Willingness to work outdoors in all types of conditions

• Valid driver’s license
