Cybersecurity Specialist 3

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Cybersecurity Specialist 3 to support a company focused on advanced Security and Electronic Systems, delivering integrated security, IT, and operational technology solutions for federal, local, and commercial clients. This position is on-site at Fort Belvoir . The Cybersecurity Specialist 3 will support Information System Security Engineering efforts by implementing cybersecurity controls, supporting RMF processes, and strengthening system resiliency across IT and OT environments. Responsibilities Implement DoD STIGs across traditional IT and OT systems, ensuring compliance and secure configurations Support RMF assessment and authorization activities, including documentation development and validation Conduct ICSS/SCADA system inventories, vulnerability scanning, and remediation tracking Collaborate with engineers, vendors, and government stakeholders to enhance cybersecurity posture Assist with ISO compliance efforts, quality inspections, and continuous cybersecurity improvements Qualifications 5+ years in cybersecurity, IT, or risk management in government or regulated environments Proficiency with ACAS, HBSS, STIG application, eMASS, and vulnerability management practices Strong understanding of DoD RMF lifecycle, NIST 800-53 controls, and ICSS security (NIST SP 800-82) Bachelor’s, Master’s, Associate’s degree, or equivalent experience in IT, Cybersecurity, or related field Active TS/SCI clearance required with eligibility to obtain TS/SCI with Polygraph Compensation Salary Range: $100,000-$135,000 depending on experience Full Benefits Package: PTO, Paid Holidays, Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, Tuition Reimbursement, Sick leave as required by law #J-18808-Ljbffr
