As an Activities Director, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing a wide range of activities and programs for our residents. Activities Director Responsibilities Develop and implement a comprehensive activities program that meets the needs and interests of our residents Plan and coordinate a variety of activities, including social events, recreational programs, and educational classes Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create personalized activity plans for residents Ensure that all activities are safe, fun, and engaging for residents Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of activities and make adjustments as needed Recruit, train, and supervise volunteers and support staff as needed Activities Director Requirements Prior experience in activities coordination or a related field Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively with diverse populations, including those with dementia, Alzheimer's, and other cognitive impairments Work Environment Work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a focus on providing exceptional care and services to our residents Collaborate with a diverse team of healthcare professionals, including nurses, therapists, and social workers Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with industry best practices #J-18808-Ljbffr
