We are seeking skilled forklift operators to support manufacturing and processing operations in Saline, MI. This role is pivotal in operating production equipment, monitoring product quality, supporting packaging and material handling, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. The position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting, contributing significantly to ensuring product quality, efficiency, and safety within the facility.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift and be comfortable working with stacks up to 6 feet.
• Perform basic troubleshooting and adjustments to maintain continuous production flow.
• Inspect products for quality, including weight, labeling, and packaging accuracy.
• Record production data, including output, quality checks, and downtime.
• Support packaging operations, including sealing, labeling, and preparing finished goods for shipment.
• Palletize finished product and ensure correct counts and proper stacking.
• Use material handling equipment like pallet jacks and forklifts to move materials, if certified.
• Maintain cleanliness of equipment and work areas, following all sanitation standards.
• Follow all safety guidelines, GMP standards, and company procedures.
• Assist with line changeovers, setup, and breakdown as needed.

• At least 2 years of experience in forklift operation.

• Experience in production, mechanical assembly, general labor, assembling, using a tape measure, and packaging.

Work Environment

The facility operates on multiple shifts: 1st shift (7am-3pm), 2nd shift (3pm-11pm), and 3rd shift (11pm-7am). The work environment is fast-paced, requiring attention to detail and adherence to safety and sanitation standards. Employees are expected to wear appropriate attire suitable for a manufacturing setting.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Saline, MI.

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Saline,MI.
