Great opportunity for a driven physician to join our post-acute care team in the Middletown, Delaware, area. This is a full-time opportunity (5 days|week) rounding in skilled nursing facilities, with excellent support and training, autonomy, and earning potential.

Key Responsibilities

Perform primary care in a post-acute setting for short term and long-term patients
Manage chronic disease, diagnose illnesses and medical conditions, and implement plan of care
Order and interpret lab results
Prescribe and monitor medications
Consult with physicians and coordinate patient care with other healthcare practitioners
Educate patients and their caregivers on coping skills to handle chronic and age-related conditions

Requirements
Current physician license (state of Delaware) and DEA
Experience in post-acute, acute, ED, or clinic settings preferred but not required; new grads welcome to apply
Strong clinical foundation and knowledge of healthcare regulatory standards
