Job Title: Account Manager
Location: Gardena, CA | Hybrid (2-3 days onsite, remaining days remote)
Shift: 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM

Hourly Pay Range and Other Compensation:
The hourly rate for this position is expected to be between $29.00 - $35.00 per hour, depending on geographic location, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

About the Role:

The Account Manager is responsible for managing the end-to-end customer order process, from order receipt through shipment, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and exceptional customer satisfaction. This role serves as a key point of coordination between customers, Logistics, Purchasing, Operations, and internal teams to ensure orders are processed accurately and delivered on time.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and experienced in order management, customer communication, and cross-functional collaboration. This position offers the opportunity to play a critical role in improving operational efficiency and supporting strong customer relationships within a collaborative team environment.

## Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

* Process customer purchase orders within four hours of receipt to support timely fulfillment and customer expectations.

* Enter and manage customer orders through both customer DSS systems and internal ERP systems while maintaining 99% accuracy across accounts and transactions.

* Conduct daily follow-ups on outstanding tasks and order issues to support a 100% fill rate and ensure customer commitments are met.

* Coordinate weekly container planning for ocean shipments and maintain shipment tracking boards to ensure readiness for scheduled deadlines.

* Partner with Logistics teams to coordinate product movement between storage and loading warehouses and support transportation requirements.

* Respond promptly to stakeholder requests through email and internal communication channels while ensuring deadlines and service expectations are met.

* Utilize Asana and other internal tools to track orders, manage workflows, and improve communication across teams.

* Identify process challenges, recommend improvements, and apply sound judgment to resolve customer and operational issues.

* Provide backup support to other Account Managers and contribute to a collaborative, team-focused environment.

## Qualifications:

* High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.

* 2+ years of related experience in account management, customer service, order management, logistics, supply chain, or a similar role.

* Experience managing customer orders, coordinating shipments, and working with cross-functional teams.

* Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Word.

* Basic to intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Excel.

* Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with internal and external stakeholders.

* Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze situations, make decisions, and maintain professionalism under pressure.

## Preferred:

* Experience working with ERP systems, customer order management systems, or supply chain platforms.

* Experience coordinating international shipments, ocean containers, or logistics operations.

* Familiarity with workflow management tools such as Asana.

* Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field.
