Registered Nurse - Infusion

Job Description

Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced RN to provide infusion services at an Outpatient Infusion Center, primarily supporting oncology patients with some non-oncology infusions. The role involves administering treatments, managing patient care, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities:

• Administer infusion therapies to oncology and non-oncology patients according to protocols.
• Monitor patient responses and manage any adverse reactions during treatments.
• Document clinical processes accurately in electronic health records, with a preference for Epic experience.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate patient care plans and ensure safety.
• Comply with all state licensing and certification requirements, including BLS and chemo certifications.
• Adhere to scheduled shifts, with no weekend or on-call responsibility, and float to other locations as needed.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid California RN license and current BLS (AHA) certification.
• Possess at least 2 years of oncology infusion experience.
• Demonstrate proficiency in electronic charting, preferably Epic.
• Maintain valid chemo certification (ONS/ONCC).
• Be available to complete required lab work within 3-5 days of employment offer.
• Submit to background checks and provide accurate 7-year work history verification.
