Overview Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Location: Kissimmee, FL Base Pay: $27.42 – $36.95 per hour Sign-On Bonus: $15,000 Position Summary We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our team in Kissimmee, Florida . The RRT will perform all respiratory care-related duties, providing high-quality therapeutic and diagnostic services to patients of all ages. This role involves administering routine and complex respiratory therapy procedures, operating acute care ventilators, and supporting both short- and long-term mechanical ventilation. The ideal candidate is self-directed, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering exceptional patient care in a fast-paced clinical environment. Key Responsibilities Set up, operate, and monitor respiratory therapy equipment and treatments for patients of all ages. Administer routine and specialized respiratory therapy procedures as prescribed by physicians. Manage acute care ventilators for patients requiring short- and long-term mechanical ventilation. Assess patient responses and adjust treatment plans as needed to achieve optimal outcomes. Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with hospital and department standards. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care. Function independently and make sound clinical decisions in the absence of a team leader. Qualifications Education: Completion of an AMA-approved Respiratory Care program (Associates Degree required). Certification: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required). Experience: Minimum 1 year of RRT experience preferred.
