About the Role
The Company is in search of a Chief Development Officer (CDO) to play a pivotal role in the evolution of its philanthropic program. The successful candidate will be a strategic and relationship-centered leader, responsible for designing and executing advancement strategies that align with the institution's mission and support long-term financial sustainability. This senior leadership position involves close partnership with the Head of School and Board of Trustees, and the CDO will be expected to bring clarity, structure, and a forward-looking strategy to the development operation. Key responsibilities include overseeing major gifts, annual giving, campaigns, planned giving, stewardship, engagement, communications, and advancement services. The role also demands a focus on mentoring the development team, strengthening data-informed decision-making, and personally managing a significant portfolio of major and leadership gift prospects. The ideal candidate for the Chief Development Officer role at the company will be a collaborative and strategic advancement leader, with a proven track record in a similar capacity.
