Registered Respiratory Therapist – Respiratory Care Work location: Texas Health Rockwall, 3150 Horizon Rd. Rockwall, TX 75032. Work hours: PRN; Nights 5:30pm‑6am, 1‑2 weekends per schedule. CLIAFE must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency. Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) upon hire required. Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) upon hire required. BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required. ACLS – Advanced Cardiac Life Support for ICU and Emergency Department only, 90‑day requirement. NRP – Essential Neonatal Resuscitation Program required if working in the NICU, 90‑day requirement. Good verbal communication, strong interpersonal skills, and computer experience. What You Will Do Review available medical records and obtain pertinent medical history from the patient or family. Evaluate each patient using age and diagnosis‑appropriate assessment tests and measurements. Apply appropriate patient care interventions according to protocol guidelines and priority of care. Demonstrate competence in the performance of age‑appropriate patient assessment and individualize care based on age‑specific needs. Use therapeutic treatment techniques appropriate to the patient's age and desire for treatment. Perform treatment procedures that are within the scope of the professional license.
