Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Labor & Delivery unit within a tertiary teaching hospital setting
• Support labor, delivery, postpartum, and nursery care at a Level I experience facility
• Monitor maternal and fetal status throughout labor and delivery, intervening as clinically appropriate
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
• Adhere to facility policies, clinical protocols, and unit-specific procedures

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Nursery nursing
• Active Michigan RN license (required prior to start)
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
• ACLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
• STABLE certification and AWHONN certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in a Labor & Delivery setting
• Familiarity with high-volume or tertiary-level hospital environments
