- Assess patients across a spectrum of age groups using comprehensive evaluations and observational methodologies.
- Create tailored treatment plans that encompass both immediate objectives and long-lasting communication, cognitive, or swallowing needs.
- Deliver personalized speech therapy interventions aimed at enhancing communication effectiveness, language skills, fluency, voice modulation, and swallowing function.
- Engage in collaborative practices with physical and occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and families to develop integrated care strategies.
- Provide educational support to patients and families to facilitate progress beyond the clinical setting.
- Conduct occasional inpatient assessments and interventions to ensure seamless care on every patient's journey.
- Accurately document patient progress and interventions in compliance with all regulatory standards.
- Remain informed on industry advancements through continuous education and collaborative engagement with peers.
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if you are yet to receive ASHA certification.
- Valid state license as a Speech Language Pathologist .
- Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
- Expertise in evidence-based therapeutic approaches relevant to all ages, with a comprehensive understanding of developmental and acquired speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
- Exceptional interpersonal communication skills with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
- Capability to adapt therapy methodologies to accommodate diverse cultural and linguisticneeds.
- Strong clinical evaluation skills and adept problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with electronic health records and documentation requirements.
