LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking an contract Indirect Buyer for a growing global manufacturing organization in the Pageland, SC area. This is an excellent opportunity for a procurement professional who enjoys supplier negotiations, strategic sourcing, and cross-functional collaboration while making a direct impact on operational success. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting both direct and indirect purchasing within a manufacturing environment and be comfortable managing supplier relationships, negotiating pricing, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. What You'll Do Source and procure indirect goods and services while supporting strategic purchasing initiatives Assist with direct material purchasing as business needs require Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships Negotiate pricing, contracts, and service agreements Create, manage, and maintain purchase orders Partner closely with Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, Finance, Maintenance, and Production teams Monitor inventory levels to minimize shortages and excess inventory Track and report cost savings and cost avoidance initiatives Analyze purchasing data and supplier performance Identify opportunities to improve procurement processes and efficiencies Ensure timely delivery while maintaining quality and cost objectives Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field preferred (or equivalent experience) 2-5+ years of purchasing or procurement experience Experience supporting both direct and indirect purchasing is highly preferred Manufacturing procurement experience strongly preferred Strong negotiation and vendor management skills Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Oracle, AS400, or similar Advanced Microsoft Excel skills Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities Excellent communication and relationship-building skills Preferred Background Experience in one or more of the following industries is highly desirable: Manufacturing Automotive Metals Chemical Manufacturing Distribution Supply Chain Why You'll Want This Opportunity Direct hire opportunity with a global industry leader High visibility across multiple business functions Opportunity to influence purchasing strategy and supplier relationships Collaborative, team-oriented culture Career growth and advancement opportunities #J-18808-Ljbffr
