Splish Splash Retail & Games Supervisor

As a Retail & Games Supervisor at Splish Splash, you play a key role in ensuring an exceptional guest experience by managing retail and games operations, maintaining vibrant store environments, and delivering outstanding customer service. Responsibilities Supervise daily operations of the Retail and Games team, including hiring, orientation, training, performance coaching, and discipline. Lead by example and represent Splish Splash’s core values of heartspitality. Backfill retail and game positions as needed and perform essential duties in all areas. Manage schedules, time‑keeping, and compliance with meal and break regulations under New York law. Conduct opening and closing procedures, including food preparation, cleaning, and cash register management. Maintain inventory levels: restock gift shops, track orders, and transfer inventory between locations. Notify leadership of out‑of‑stock items. Merchandise stores, ensure visual standards, and keep shelves fully stocked. Monitor cashier accuracy, POS compliance, and anti‑theft procedures. Maintain cleanliness of store areas – interior and exterior – and report maintenance or safety concerns promptly. Collaborate with the Retail Manager to improve product sales and operational efficiency. Assume additional skill game and arcade responsibilities where required: supervise game area, ensure cleanliness, manage game stock, resolve guest complaints, and report maintenance issues. Support other duties assigned by leadership to ensure smooth store and game zone operation. Education & Experience No formal education required. Preferred: 1+ year(s) of experience in retail, arcade, or point‑of‑sale operations. Bilingual skills (Spanish or other languages) considered an asset. Qualifications Minimum 18 years of age to comply with NY Child Labor Laws. Flexible schedule: willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Uniform policy compliance. Valid driver’s license with a clean record; ability to operate various motorized vehicles (trucks, golf carts, forklifts, etc.). Excellent customer service and conflict‑resolution skills. Strong verbal and written communication, attention to detail, and problem‑solving ability. Proficiency with POS technology and PCI compliance preferred. Ability to follow directions, multitask, work in a team and independently. Physical Requirements Stand, walk, and remain on feet for majority of the shift. Stoop, twist, kneel, bend, and squat as needed. Use a step ladder safely. Operate computer or POS equipment while seated. Carry, push, pull, lift, and hold objects weighing up to 40 pounds. Working Conditions Based in one or more retail locations throughout the park (indoor or outdoor). Frequent interruptions and changing priorities. Exposure to variable weather: high heat, cold, sun, humidity, dust, rain, snow, ice. Possible exposure to dust and cleaning agents.
