As a Security Officer Part Time Licensed Unarmed Patrol in Virginia Beach VA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel visitors and vendors at a technology media and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas exterior grounds access points parking areas and the perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access to the location verify visitor and vendor authorization in accordance with site procedures and maintain accurate activity and incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm professional problem-solving manner notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency services as directed.
• Help maintain a professional presence while observing operations and reporting potential policy violations hazards or suspicious activity to appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
