SYNERGY HomeCare Barrington has an immediate opening for a skilled live-in caregiver that can assist with a female client that is bedridden and smokes . The client has MS and stays mainly in bed. She does on occasion sits in a chair and needs assistance transferring with a Hoyer lift.
She will need assistance with personal care, changing and emptying catheter bag, bathing, repositioning, light exercises, meal planning and preparation, along with other ADL's. The caregiver will be responsible for monitoring fluid intake, observing and reporting any change in condition as she has ongoing issues with UTI's.
Our client is cognitive, extremely friendly, enjoys chatting and watching movies with the caregiver.
