Pharmacist - Travel Job

We're hiring a licensed pharmacist for a contract position where you will use your clinical expertise to ensure the safe and thoughtful distribution of medications to individuals navigating a range of physical and mental health challenges. Minimum Requirements:

• Active Pharmacist license for state of practice required.
• Experience with Pyxis, CIISafe, DoseEdge, RXMS, or equivalent medication dispensing and management systems preferred.
• Experience with VigiLanz or similar medication surveillance/intervention systems preferred.
• Experience supervising or managing pharmacy technicians required. Will be the only pharmacist working alone with a technician for portions of shift (approximately 5.5 hours of a 10-hour shift).
• Prior hospital pharmacy experience preferred, including exposure to critical care, NICU, OR, ED, or trauma center environments.
• BLS or ALS preferred but not required.
• Minimum 6 months pharmacist experience preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Meditech electronic health record preferred.
• Experience performing clinical consults (e.g., warfarin, vancomycin, TPN, insulin) and drug information duties preferred.
• Familiarity with BD Pyxis and pharmacy automation workflows preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 2100-0700.
• Schedule format: 7 on, 7 off rotation (7 consecutive days per rotation).
• Pharmacy is staffed 24 hours. Night shift typically has one staff pharmacist and pharmacy technician support.
