Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Neuro PCU/IMC/Stepdown to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care to patients with neurological conditions in a mixed acuity unit.
• Administer drips as required on all floors, including cardiac and vasoactive drips.
• Float to various units as needed to meet facility staffing requirements.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physical therapy and respiratory services.
• Ensure compliance with facility policies, including wearing Steele gray scrubs.
• Participate in 48-hour monitoring and manage patient conditions like strokes and seizures.

Qualifications

• Active registered nurse license; pending license accepted with conditions.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a large, urban hospital.
• Experience with EPIC charting system is mandatory.
• Proficiency in managing telemetry and stepdown patient ratios.
• ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
• Experience in a Level I Academic Medical Center preferred.
