- Take ownership of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting processes.
- Partner directly with leadership by providing financial analysis and business insights.
- Influence budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management activities.
- Work with modern business systems including NetSuite, Shopify, and Avalara.
- Play a key role in audit preparation, tax compliance, and process improvement initiatives.
- Lead the month-end and year-end close process, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Prepare accurate financial statements and deliver variance analysis against budget, forecast, and prior-year results.
- Support cash flow forecasting, annual budgeting, and financial planning activities.
- Coordinate external audit requirements and assist with income tax filing preparation.
- Manage sales tax compliance and filings through Avalara while maintaining GAAP-compliant accounting practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred.
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
- Prior experience leading or managing accounting staff.
- Experience with ERP systems, preferably NetSuite, along with strong Excel/MS Office skills.
