Shift Leader

Subway Systems is looking for motivated, responsible, honest and friendly individuals to join our growing team. The Shift Leader supervises the operations of a shift to ensure that food safety, product preparation, cleanliness and inventory control standards are maintained. This may include resolving shift staffing issues and ensuring the highest quality in customer service is maintained at all times during shifts. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: Continuously maintain a cheerful and helpful manner while greeting guests and preparing their orders Completely understands all menu items and explains them to guests accurately Able to operate a cash register and collect money from customers accurately Performs Cash-In Procedure - accounting for all forms of money, bread, etc. during the shift Prepares food neatly, according to formula, and in a timely manner Maintains and checks all products in sandwich unit area to ensure a sufficient supply throughout the shift Understands and adheres to proper food handling, safety and sanitation standards during food preparation, service and clean up Cleans and maintains all areas of the restaurant to promote a clean image Understands and adheres to all quality standards, formulas and procedures as outlined in the SUBWAY Operations Manual Maintains a professional appearance and grooming standards as outlined in the SUBWAY Operations Manual Trains newer or less experienced Sandwich Artists in their tasks and responsibilities Practices inventory control standards Inspects equipment and storage facilities throughout a shift to ensure that equipment is in proper working order Performs paperwork duties as needed Completes University of SUBWAY courses as directed Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent Customer service experience preferred Promotion from Within Referral Bonus Free Meals Training Program Employee Retirement Plan with Company Match - 401k Insurance: Medical, Voluntary - Dental, Vision, Term Life #J-18808-Ljbffr
