Job Description As a Security Officer Patrol Defender in Westerville, OH , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a prestigious financial institution, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security‑related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $19.10 / Hour Job Schedule: Wed 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Thu 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Fri 11:00 PM - 11:00 AM Sat 11:00 PM - 11:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a financial institution location. Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner while documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, entry points, lobby areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify potential concerns. Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials when required, and report suspicious behavior, maintenance issues, and/or policy violations to the appropriate personnel. Support day-to-day operations by maintaining a visible presence, following post orders, and assisting with security‑related requests in a professional manner. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 21 years of age. CPR certification is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
