**Balloons Confection Paradise** is looking for a friendly, energetic, dependable, and customer-focused **Retail Sales Associate** to join our growing team!

We specialize in balloons, party supplies, custom decorations, event rentals, and personalized celebration services. We're looking for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast-paced retail environment, and takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

- Greet customers and provide friendly, professional customer service.

- Assist customers with selecting balloons, party supplies, decorations, and event products.

- Process sales transactions using the point-of-sale (POS) system.

- Answer phone calls, respond to customer inquiries, and take orders accurately.

- Inflate helium and air-filled balloons and assemble balloon bouquets.

- Assist with basic balloon arrangements, packaging, and custom orders.

- Explain products, services, pricing, and store policies to customers.

- Maintain organized, clean, and fully stocked merchandise displays.

- Restock shelves, organize inventory, and monitor product availability.

- Assist with preparing customer orders for pickup and delivery.

- Support online orders, DoorDash pickups, and in-store purchases.

- Assist with opening and closing store procedures.

- Promote additional products and services to increase sales.

- Work collaboratively with management and other team members.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

- Previous retail or customer service experience preferred.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Friendly, positive attitude with a willingness to learn.

- Dependable, punctual, and able to follow instructions.

- Basic math, cash-handling, and computer skills.

- Ability to multitask and remain organized during busy periods.

- Attention to detail when preparing orders and assisting customers.

- Willingness to learn balloon inflation, arrangement techniques, and party decorating basics.

- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift merchandise or supplies up to 25 pounds, with reasonable accommodations as needed.

- Availability to work weekends and peak holiday periods.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

**Experience with balloons, party supplies, event decorating, or creative design is a plus, but not required. Training will be provided!**
