CDL Class B - Waste CollectionReports To: Operations Supervisor and/or Operations ManagerAs a CDL Class B Truck Driver, you operate a waste hauling truck to provide residential trash and recycling pick up. Operating around 150 miles of your home, you lift and carry residential waste and deposit into a compactor. Throughout your day, you are attentive to safety and are sure to report any defects, accidents, or violations. You inspect vehicles for mechanical and safety issues and report preventative maintenance needs to management team. Each day, you are happy to be on the road and not stuck in an office.Responsibilities and Duties:Safely operate around 150 miles of homeComplete daily pre and post trip inspectionsComply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking, break periods etc.) as well as with company policies and proceduresManeuver trucks into loading or unloading positionsReport any and all defects, accidents, or violationsCarry out other duties as needed or instructedShift/Schedule:Home DailyMonday-FridayAdditional hours may be neededShift is 10-12 HoursPay & Benefits:Who doesn't like to get paid weekly?
