Shipping Clerk

Shipping ClerkAmerican Products is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Shipping Clerk to join our Operations team. This position is responsible for supporting shipping, receiving, inventory control, and warehouse organization to help keep operations running efficiently.What You'll DoPrepare and process outgoing shipments using the most efficient and cost-effective shipping methodsCreate bills of lading and verify shipments against work ordersReceive, inspect, and verify incoming materials and deliveriesSort, package, label, and organize inventory and materialsDeliver materials to appropriate departments and project locationsTrack and resolve shipment issues, including proof of delivery requestsSupport warehouse organization and 5S initiativesParticipate in weekly cycle counts and inventory control activitiesMaintain shipping, receiving, and inventory recordsObtain freight quotes and coordinate shipmentsSafely operate warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks, hand dollies, and forkliftsQualificationsHigh school diploma or GED preferredPrevious warehouse, shipping/receiving, or inventory experience preferredExperience with ERP systems, such as Syteline, is a plusProficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and OutlookStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsSelf-motivated with a commitment to continuous improvementAbility to work safely and follow all PPE and safety requirementsPhysical RequirementsAbility to stand and walk for extended periodsAbility to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 80 pounds occasionallyAbility to work in a warehouse and manufacturing environmentJoin Our TeamIf you enjoy a fast-paced environment, take pride in staying organized, and are committed to safety and accuracy, we'd love to hear from you.Apply today and join the American Products team as a Shipping Clerk!
