We are looking for compassionate nurses with a passion for service, family values, and a true desire to help the elderly. Responsibilities Travel to assigned patient’s homes and manage their care plan according to physician’s instructions. Assess and chart observations of the patient’s condition at each visit. Complete evaluation tasks, including reviewing medication and vital signs. Dress or redress wounds and assess the healing progress. Educate caregivers and family on the after‑care or ongoing care of the patient. Keep the patient comfortable through palliative care. Recommend tools or devices that may improve the quality of life for the patient. Requirements and Qualifications Relevant license and certification. A valid driver’s license and reliable transport. Ability to lift 25 lbs. Strong candidates have a minimum of 1 year of experience working in the home‑care industry (or related industry – hospice, home health, hospital, etc.). Skills Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients. Initiative to make independent decisions when required. Ability to follow instructions but also act independently. Excellent observational and problem‑solving skills. Ability to act swiftly in emergencies and work efficiently. Flexibility and patience to work in a variety of living environments. Knowledge of clinical skills including changing bandages, giving tube feedings, administering shots, and setting up and monitoring IVs.
