Cost Accountant-Manufacturing

Job Description Job Description We’re seeking a Cost Accountant-Manufacturing with a strong core background in manufacturing cost accounting—someone experienced in cost setup, analytics, and navigating a production environment. This role is heavily focused on cost accounting ( about 75%), including BOM maintenance, variance analysis (actual vs. FIFO), overhead absorption, cost allocation, and WIP/inventory reconciliation, with additional responsibilities in month-end close, journal entries, and financial reporting (about 25%). You’ll partner closely with operations and production teams to analyze manufacturing performance, support budgeting and forecasting, drive cost accuracy, and contribute to pricing and cost-reduction initiatives.
