Job Title: Business Analyst
Location: Remote


Project's Information: (Information to share during an introductory interview - E.g - Project`s Goals, relationship between client and GFT, location of the team members, etc) Our client is working on expanding their presence in Investment Banking in the USA. Client is solid in Latam and Europe.
Do candidates need to have specific industry experience? Functional knowledge in Fixed income and more specifically: Security lending; Security repos. Integration knowledge: DTC/DTCC- corporate bonds; FICC- repos


Responsibilities:
• Requirements gathering: will be the bridge between technical and other functional teams;
• Converts requirements into stories and works in the functional solution;
• Comprehensively conducts analysis of business requirements and translates them into technical specifications;
• Leverages deep understanding of fixed income securities, including security lending and security repos, providing insights and solutions;
• Integration Knowledge: Manages and supports the integration of systems with DTC/DTCC for corporate bonds and FICC for repos;
• Collaborates with stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure solutions aligned with business objectives;
• Identifies areas for process optimization and recommends solutions to enhance operational efficiency;
• Prepares detailed documentation of business requirements, functional specifications, and systems design;
• Supports project management activities, including timeline tracking, risk management, and status reporting.


Mandatory Requirements:
• Minimum 10-12 years of experience in a similar position;
• Minimum 7+ years of banking or financial services industries experience working as part of a technical IT team;
• Strong background and experience with fixed income, security lending and security repos;
• Strong background and experience with DTC/DTCC for corporate bonds and FICC for repos;
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions;
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
