Market Leader / Senior Vice President Commercial Insurance Or Employee Benefits The Opportunity Our client, a rapidly growing national insurance brokerage and consulting organization, is seeking an accomplished Market Leader / Senior Vice President to build and lead a high-performing regional operation. This is a true player-coach opportunity for an entrepreneurial insurance professional who wants to continue producing at a high level while building, mentoring, and leading a local team. The organization combines the feel and autonomy of an entrepreneurial independent agency with the resources, market access, technology, and centralized infrastructure of a larger national platform. The Market Leader will have significant ownership over regional growth, talent acquisition, client relationships, and overall financial performance. Key Responsibilities Drive New Business: Personally develop and maintain a significant book of Commercial P&C or Employee Benefits business while continuing to generate net-new revenue. Build the Market: Develop a strong regional presence by leveraging existing relationships, centers of influence, carrier relationships, and new business opportunities. Recruit & Develop Talent: Recruit, mentor, coach, and develop Producers and Account Management professionals as the local operation grows. Lead from the Front: Establish the sales culture and demonstrate successful prospecting, relationship-building, and closing strategies for developing producers. Own Regional Performance: Take responsibility for the financial performance and profitability of the local operation, including revenue growth, expenses, and contribution margin. Develop Strategic Relationships: Build and maintain relationships with business leaders, referral partners, carriers, and other key centers of influence throughout the market. Collaborate with Centralized Resources: Partner closely with corporate operations, HR, finance, technology, carrier relations, and other centralized support functions, allowing the local team to remain focused on clients and revenue generation. Create a High-Performance Culture: Build an entrepreneurial environment focused on accountability, collaboration, client service, production, and professional development. Ideal Background Proven track record as a successful Commercial Insurance or Employee Benefits Producer within the insurance brokerage/agency space. Existing book of business and/or demonstrated history of generating significant new business revenue. Previous leadership, sales management, or team-building experience. Experience recruiting, mentoring, and developing insurance producers. Strong understanding of brokerage operations and financial performance. Existing relationships and a strong professional network within the market. Entrepreneurial mindset with an interest in building and scaling a regional operation. Strong executive presence, communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Why Consider This Opportunity?
