Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN)

The Cath Lab Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients undergoing catheterization procedures in a fast-paced environment. This role includes monitoring patient progress and providing sedation as necessary. The Cath Lab RN will work closely with an interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Shifts will be any day Monday through Friday with weekend call responsibilities. On-call requirement: 7 days per month, including 1 weekend each month (Friday to Sunday evening) and one additional day during the week.

Administer moderate sedation and monitor patient responses. Assist with various procedures within the cardiology unit. Maintain patient safety and comfort throughout procedures. Collaborate with physicians and other team members for effective patient care.

Minimum of 2 years of experience in a cath lab or interventional radiology (IR) setting. Experience in a facility with at least 250 beds is preferred. Certification in ACLS, BLS, and either CCI RCES or CCI RCIS required. NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification is required. Knowledge of Epic electronic health records is highly preferred. Must be within a local radius of 50 miles for consideration.

This position requires availability for weekend call and the ability to accommodate a flexible work schedule. All additional requests for time off must be submitted at the time of application.
