Job Description Job Description Job Title: Full-Time Maintenance Technician Property: Mountain View Apartments, (105 newly remodeled Units) Position Summary: Mountain View Apartments is seeking a reliable, skilled, and motivated full-time Maintenance Technician to join our team. This position is responsible for maintaining the overall condition, functionality, and appearance of our 105-unit community. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can troubleshoot and complete tasks independently while also contributing as part of a team. Key Responsibilities: Perform routine maintenance and repairs in occupied and vacant units Complete unit turns efficiently, including repairs, painting, and preparation for new residents Troubleshoot and repair issues related to plumbing, light electrical systems, and PTAC units Maintain and service electrical water heaters Perform carpentry work including minor framing, repairs, and installations Install, repair, and maintain vinyl plank flooring (no carpet work required) Conduct general building maintenance and preventative maintenance tasks Assist with ongoing exterior projects and property upkeep (grounds, structures, and common areas) Maintain organized inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment; notify management of shortages Accurately document completed work and communicate updates to the Site Manager Use basic computer systems for work orders, reporting, and communication Qualifications & Skills: Experience in apartment maintenance or similar field preferred Strong skills in painting, plumbing, light electrical work, and carpentry Ability to diagnose problems and complete repairs independently Knowledge of PTAC systems and electrical water heaters is a plus Basic computer skills for work order systems and reporting Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Professional Expectations: Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic Team player with the ability to also work independently Professional, presentable, and respectful demeanor Positive attitude and willingness to take initiative Strong communication skills and ability to follow direction What We Offer: Full-time, stable position Competitive salary and compensation package On-site housing available Supportive team environment Opportunity to contribute to a well-maintained and growing community If you take pride in your work and enjoy solving problems while keeping a property running smoothly, we encourage you to apply and become part of the Mountain View Apartments team.
