Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Specialist - Aerospace / Manufacturing

Consolidated Precision Products (CPP) in Rancho Cucamonga is looking for an Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Specialist to report to the Director of Human Resources at our aerospace foundry. Position Summary The Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Specialist is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining programs that ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations while promoting a safe and healthy workplace. The role partners with all levels of the organization to minimize risk, prevent injuries, and support continuous improvement initiatives. Salary

$80,000 - $100,000 DOE.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local environmental, health, and safety regulations (OSHA, EPA, and other applicable requirements). Conduct routine safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify hazards and implement corrective actions. Investigate workplace incidents, injuries, and near misses; determine root causes and recommend preventive measures. Develop and deliver safety training programs for employees and supervisors. Maintain safety records, reports, permits, and documentation required by regulatory agencies. Coordinate emergency response procedures, evacuation plans, and safety drills. Monitor and manage hazardous waste, chemical handling, and environmental compliance activities. Support workers' compensation and return-to-work programs as needed. Collaborate with department managers to promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement. Track safety metrics and prepare reports for management. Participate in new equipment, process, and facility reviews to ensure safety requirements are incorporated. Stay current on regulatory changes and industry best practices. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field preferred. Minimum of 2–5 years of EHS experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred. Working knowledge of OSHA regulations, EPA requirements, and applicable safety standards. Experience conducting incident investigations and implementing corrective actions. Strong communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Ability to work independently and effectively with cross‑functional teams. Preferred Certifications OSHA 30‑Hour Certification Certified Safety Professional (CSP) Associate Safety Professional (ASP) First Aid/CPR Certification This is a full‑time position.
