Hematology/Oncology Physician Assistant

Locums - Potsdam, New York, PA Hematology/Oncology Opening

Start Date: 8/3/26Assignment Length: 6 months

Schedule & Shift Details:

• Monday-Friday
• 8:00am-5:00pm
• One-hour lunch built into daily schedule
• Full-time provider highly preferred, but flexibility available for near full-time schedules
• Overtime available after 40 hours per week as needed

Practice Setting:

• Outpatient Hematology/Oncology clinic
• Occasional inpatient consults during normal operating hours (infrequent)
• Growing oncology program seeking adaptable providers

Patient Volume & Department Details:

• 18-20 patients per day
• 15 infusion chairs
• Treatments include:
  • Chemotherapy
  • Immunotherapy
  • Targeted therapy
  • Hormone therapy

Support Staff:

• 1 MD
• 1 NP
• 3 CNA/CMA staff members

Facility & Workflow Notes:

• Epic EMR with AI-assisted charting available
• Cell phone use permitted and may be needed for AI charting support
• Professional dress code with closed-toe shoes required
• Call-in process handled directly with director via phone or text

Requirements:

• Active New York license in hand - Required
• Epic experience - Required
• Board Eligible or Board Certified - Required
