Instruct, motivate, and assist patients to learn and improve functional activities such as perambulation, transfer, ambulation, and daily living activities. Safeguard, motivate, and assist patients practicing exercises and functional activities under the direction of professional staff, demonstrating correct activity form or function. Observe patients during various physical activities designed in the treatment plan, compiling progress on patients’ response to treatment.
