Our organization is thrilled to announce openings for a fellowship-trained Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgeon (URPS) and a Genitourinary Reconstructive Urologist (GURS) at our flagship university hospital. This prestigious academic medical center, recognized as one of the top teaching hospitals in the nation, is affiliated with the sixth-largest medical school in the United States.

The selected candidates will engage in the education and training of residents within the Urology Residency Program, which currently hosts 15 residents. The collaborative academic department consists of 8 urologists and 4 advanced practice providers (APPs). This is an exciting opportunity to join the Urology Division during its expansion, with a new, purpose-built urology clinic set to open in 2026, designed with a patient-centered approach!

• Main Medical Center is a Level I Trauma Center with 1,100 beds
• Second Hospital is a Level III facility with 215 beds
• Advanced laparoscopic and robotic surgical capabilities with multiple robotic operating rooms
• Dedicated operating room time in specialty pods with established block time
• Equipped with the latest DaVinci V and XI robots, Holmium lasers, and Moses laser technology

Position Highlights:

• Access to one of the largest group practices in the nation and its extensive referral network
• High volume expected for GURS and URPS procedures
• Leadership role available as Associate Program Director
• New clinic, set for completion in 2026, will be patient-focused and include on-site radiology
• Research involvement is encouraged
• Opportunity to teach medical students and Urology residents
• Optional call schedule; 1:6 to 1:7, with residents assisting on first call
