Substitute Bus DriverUnder general supervision, to safely drive a school bus or transportation vehicle over an assigned route in the transportation of students; to apply safe-driving principles in vehicle operation; to maintain buses in a clean and safe condition and perform minor bus maintenance; and to do other related work as required. Substitute Bus Driver for a.m., p.m., late bus p.m., and field trips as needed. a.m is typically 6:30-8:30, unless a fog day. p.m. is typically 3:00-5:00, except on Tuesdays for early release. Late Bus: 4:45-6:45 Field Trips as needed. This is for the 2026-2027 School year only. Currently seeking both a.m. and p.m. continuously for the remainder of the year, but will work with whatever candidates have available.Requirements / Qualifications-Resume -Two Letters of Reference -Possession of a valid and appropriate California Driver's License Class B with Passenger Endorsements -School Bus Drivers Certificate issued by the CHP -Current K-4 DMV (H-6) Printout (no older than 30 days) -Current Health Card (FMCSA-Medical Certificate issued by a Health Care Provider) -CPR & First Aid Certificate-Pass FBI and DOJ clearance upon hire at the employee's expense -Copy of T-01 Training Card (Upon Hire) -Be placed on the random drug and alcohol testing program upon hire. -Be placed on required transportation agencies upon hire. -Obtain TB Clearance upon HireCertificate Copy (CHP Bus Certificate)CPR/First Aid CertificationDMV Printout (K-4 (H-6))Driver's License Copy (Class B with Passenger Endorsement)Health (Current Health Card (FMCSA-Medical Certificate issued by a Health Care Provider) )Letter(s) of Reference (Must have two)Resume
