Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) to join our surgical team. The OR RN provides safe, age-appropriate patient care in a fast-paced operating room environment and serves as a resource for patients and their families.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in the operating room, ensuring a sterile environment.
• Assist in various surgical procedures across multiple specialties, including trauma, ENT, colorectal, plastics, and more.
• Monitor patient status and respond to any changes during surgical procedures.
• Collaborate with the surgical team and other healthcare professionals to deliver the best patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN License in Maryland or Compact state.
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar role.
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS, 16-hour Maryland approved trauma course, and 8-hour annual trauma CEUs.
• Experience in trauma level II or I hospitals is preferred.
