HVAC Apprentice

HVAC ApprenticeEnvirotrol is seeking an HVAC Apprentice for our Charlotte, NC location. In this role, you will travel regularly meeting scheduled and non-scheduled service requirements including modular product installation, module start-up, and also warranty claims. This position requires extended time and overnight stay out of state. We would love you to join our team and continue our mission of excellent customer service and optimal building performance.Responsibilities:Supervise and install all types of EAS-produced productsTroubleshoot and repair AHU issuesTravel and physically resolve warranty claimsPerform unit start-upComplete and submit correct timesheets and expense reportsInstall modular productsAssist with High Point production when no service work is scheduledUnderstand and follow QA-QC standardsWeld shipping splits of modular productsUnderstand and inspect electrical installations per the national electrical codeInstall and inspect all aspects of control systemsRead and understand mechanical, electrical, and control drawingsEducation/Experience:This position will be supported by on-the-job training and continued education trainingMinimum five years of experience in this industry or a related field is requiredSpecial Skills/Requirements:Personal computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook)Good documentation and communication skills.Vision for success and the ability to develop quality staff membersMust be able to demonstrate leadership skills, coaching, and problem-solvingAn advanced understanding of product design and operationAccept every challenge to meet product specificationsGood understanding of manufacturing processesThe ability to coordinate multiple projects, people, and functions.Skilled in plant safety and construction requirementsWhat We Will Offer You:Weekly Pay at competitive wages based on experiencePaid Vacation401(k) plan with a generous company matchExcellent Medical, dental, vision, and RX drug insuranceLife and accidental death insuranceShort and Long-Term Disability insuranceEmployee Assistance ProgramCommitment to Employee SafetyOpportunities for Growth & Leadership
