Per Diem Pharmacist in Retail Pharmacy - Lithonia, Georgia

A well-established group of independently owned pharmacies in the Atlanta metro area seeks a Per Diem Staff Pharmacist to provide flexible support across multiple retail locations. This role starts as PRN coverage for one site and has the potential to expand into a part-time floater position covering up to 30-35 hours weekly among four pharmacies.


Responsibilities include managing pharmacy dispensing activities primarily in a retail setting, handling a daily volume of 100-150 prescriptions, and supporting specialty medications packaging for delivery via mail and courier. The pharmacist will interact with a diverse patient population and ensure quality service in accordance with established protocols. Experience with PrimeRX software is preferred.


Key Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of retail pharmacy experience
• Strong knowledge of retail pharmacy operations and specialty medication handling
• Comfortable working across multiple sites and adapting to varied schedules
• Familiarity with PrimeRX software is highly desirable
• Excellent communication skills for patient interaction and teamwork

Location:

• Lithonia, GA, with responsibilities spanning four metro area pharmacies

Schedule:

• Approximately 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, flexible based on coverage needs
