Job Order #: 125641 Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Millwright / Installer for a short-term installation project in Oklahoma City. This position involves assembling and installing large custom steel pergolas at a local commercial park. The crew meets at the shop each morning before traveling together to the job site. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, experience with structural installations, and the ability to safely assemble large fabricated components while working outdoors. Required Experience & Skills
• Previous millwright, structural installation, or industrial assembly experience preferred
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and installation drawings
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding work
• Reliable transportation to the shop each morning
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions Essential Duties & Responsibilities
• Install and assemble 20-foot custom steel pergolas at a commercial job site
• Read and interpret blueprints, layouts, and installation drawings
• Align, level, and secure structural components according to specifications
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment safely and accurately
• Assist with rigging, lifting, and positioning large fabricated components
• Work collaboratively as part of an installation crew to complete projects efficiently
• Load, unload, and transport materials, tools, and equipment as needed
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Follow all company and job site safety procedures Preferred Qualifications
• Previous structural steel installation experience
• Experience with commercial construction or industrial assembly projects
• Knowledge of rigging and material handling techniques
• Strong teamwork and communication skills Physical Requirements
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs regularly throughout the shift
• Frequent standing, walking, climbing, bending, kneeling, and lifting
• Ability to work safely outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Comfortable working around construction equipment while wearing required PPE Work Environment
