Laboratory Supervisor

Location: Riverton, WY

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 6:30 AM - 4:00 PM

Job Description: Under the direction of the Laboratory Manager and Laboratory Medical Director, the Laboratory Supervisor oversees the day-to-day operations of laboratory personnel engaged in performing chemical, microscopic, and bacteriologic tests. The role ensures adherence to quality control protocols, assists in maintaining laboratory equipment, and supports the Manager in overseeing staffing, training, and compliance with state and federal regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations of laboratory personnel and ensure efficient workflow.
• Ensure adherence to quality control protocols within laboratory testing processes.
• Assist in maintaining laboratory equipment and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
• Support the Manager in staffing, training, and compliance with regulations.
• Collaborate with laboratory staff to ensure high standards of testing and results reporting.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of a High School diploma with completion of an MT or CLS training program accredited by ABHES, CAHEA, or an approved organization by HHS.
• ASCP certification is required and must be attached to the submission.
• Must have at least 3 years of recent laboratory supervisor experience.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association is required.
• Candidates must be prepared to cover both Lander and Riverton campuses.
