Responsibilities
Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, valves, and appliances on construction sites and remodeling projects
Use hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and welding techniques to complete installations and repairs
Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues and perform preventative maintenance
Collaborate with construction teams, carpenters, HVAC technicians, and other trades to ensure seamless project progress
Heavy lifting of materials and equipment required for installation or repair tasks while adhering to safety protocols
Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and compliance with building codes and safety standards
Requirements
OSHA 30
Proven experience as a Journeyman Plumber
Strong knowledge of construction plumbing practices, schematics, HVAC systems, and mechanical principles
Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics accurately
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, welding tools, and basic math skills for measurements and calculations
Construction site experience with a focus on safety procedures and heavy lifting techniques
Mechanical knowledge related to remodeling, maintenance, assembly work, and handyman tasks
Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to troubleshooting issues on-site
