Job Summary About the Role The CT Technologist at 1 Parkway in Haverhill performs high-quality computed tomography imaging exams in support of safe, accurate, and timely patient diagnosis and care for patients in the local community and surrounding Merrimack Valley area. Working under the guidance of department leadership and in collaboration with radiologists, providers, nurses, and fellow imaging team members, this role is responsible for preparing patients, selecting and following appropriate imaging protocols, acquiring diagnostic images, reviewing studies for quality and accuracy, and supporting a positive patient experience throughout the exam process. This position requires strong technical skill, attention to detail, sound judgment, and a patient-centered approach. The CT Technologist may care for patients across a range of age groups and clinical needs and should be comfortable working in a fast-paced healthcare environment while maintaining quality, safety, and professionalism. Qualifications Education Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Technology required. Graduation from a formal Radiologic Technology training program required. Experience may not be accepted in lieu of the required education. Licenses and Certifications Massachusetts Radiologic Technologist license required or must meet state licensure requirements prior to start, as applicable. Registered Technologist in Radiography, ARRT(R), preferred. Computed Tomography certification, ARRT(CT), preferred. Basic Life Support certification required or preferred based on department standards. Experience 0–1 year of CT experience preferred. New graduates of an accredited Radiologic Technology program may be considered with required licensure and registration. Experience in an outpatient, ambulatory, hospital, or diagnostic imaging setting preferred. Additional Job Details (if applicable) Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Proficiency with CT imaging equipment, imaging protocols, PACS, electronic medical records, and related information systems. Strong understanding of patient identification, imaging safety, radiation protection, infection control, and contrast safety practices. Ability to produce consistent, high-quality diagnostic images while adapting to patient condition, exam type, and clinical priority. Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain procedures clearly and interact compassionately with patients and families. Ability to collaborate effectively with radiologists, providers, nurses, technologists, administrative staff, and other clinical partners. Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy imaging environment. Ability to remain current with technical knowledge, regulatory expectations, and department protocols.
