Physical Therapist - Inpatient - La Jolla

Description This is a part-time (48 hours/2 weeks) inpatient position at Scripps Memorial La Jolla. The shift will include one weekend day. Join our team as a Physical Therapist within our Inpatient Physical Therapy department at Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla. This energetic team functions in a very collaborative way, both within their team of experienced therapists and inter-disciplinary with other teams as well. The ideal candidate is eager to learn and develop their skills while maintaining a patient‑centred approach to the care they provide. The Physical Therapist provides evaluation, assessment, treatment, and education to patients and family members through a continuum of care according to the Physical Therapy Practice Act, Code of Ethics, JCAHO/UMQC, Policies and Procedures, and Federal/State regulations. Qualifications Licensed as a Physical Therapist in CA or Pending CA PT license Graduate from an accredited school of Physical Therapy Current BLS Certificate Preferred Experience: At least one year of experience as a Physical Therapist in an acute care setting Scripps Health is an equal opportunity employer.
