Production Floor Utility Associate

Where you’ll work: 100 E. Oakton St, Des Plaines, IL 60018

When you’ll work: Hourly Full-Time — 3rd Shift, 3:00 p.m.–11:00 p.m. (be ready for occasional 8–12-hour shifts)

What you’ll earn: $19.52 per hour + $0.26 shift differential

What you’ll tackle

• Partner with operators to support machine startups, changeovers, and runs
• Review and follow work orders and machine instructions precisely
• Complete quality checks and record findings
• Keep equipment and floors clean; perform routine housekeeping
• Help minimize waste and hit production goals
• Uphold all safety procedures every shift

How you’ll grow

You’ll receive hands-on training with ongoing learning opportunities to progress toward an Operator role.

What we look for

• Knowledge of safe work practices
• Basic math and measurement skills (tape measure proficiency)
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to read, review, and understand work orders
• Team-first attitude; mechanically inclined is a plus

Preferred background

• Heavy material handling
• Forklift licensed
• Packaging experience
• High School diploma or GED
• Manufacturing environment experience
