Certified Athletic Trainer

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Certified Athletic Trainer role based in Lawrenceville, NJ. The Certified Athletic Trainer will provide injury prevention services, emergency care, clinical evaluation, and rehabilitation support to athletes during practices, games, and events. Daily responsibilities include pre-participation screenings, taping and bracing, monitoring athlete readiness, and implementing strength and conditioning programs aligned with safe return-to-play protocols. The role also involves maintaining accurate documentation, communicating with coaches, guardians, and healthcare professionals, and promoting education on injury prevention, hydration, and safe training practices. The Certified Athletic Trainer will be expected to work a schedule aligned with athletic events, which may include evenings and weekends. Qualifications Demonstrated skills in Injury Prevention and Prevention-focused education to reduce risk of sports-related injuries. Strong Athletic Training competencies, including sideline assessment, emergency response, and return-to-play decision-making. Experience with strength & conditioning principles to support performance, safe training progression, and recovery. Proficiency in Rehabilitation strategies, including designing and supervising sport-specific rehab and reconditioning programs. Current certification as an Athletic Trainer (ATC) and eligibility for or possession of appropriate state licensure. CPR/AED and First Aid certification, with commitment to maintaining all required credentials. Ability to communicate clearly with athletes, families, coaches, and healthcare providers, and to document care accurately. Experience in school, club, or event-based sports settings preferred; willingness to work variable hours including evenings and weekends. #J-18808-Ljbffr
