Job Description

Job Summary:
A CT Technologist is responsible for performing high-quality computed tomography scans in a fast-paced emergency department setting. This role supports diagnostic imaging operations and collaborates with medical staff to ensure accurate and timely results.

Responsibilities:

• Operate CT imaging equipment to produce detailed cross-sectional images of patients' internal structures.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures, following all safety protocols.
• Prepare patients for scans, including positioning and explaining procedures to alleviate anxiety.
• Maintain accurate documentation of procedures performed and equipment calibration records.
• Adhere to department policies, including dress code and infection control standards.
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members to optimize imaging quality and diagnostic accuracy.

Qualifications:

• Hold ARRT certification in radiologic technology and TMB licensure.
• Possess BLS certification at minimum.
• Have at least 1 year of prior experience working as a CT Technologist.
• Demonstrate proficiency with GE imaging equipment and Meditech EMR system.
• Be able to perform scans without call requirements, including US procedures if needed.
• Exhibit strong attention to detail and excellent patient care skills.
