Thought Leader Liaison, Nephrology- Northeast

Associate Director role supporting Biogen's nephrology commercial strategy in the Northeast. This field-based position develops relationships with medical experts and transplant centers, generates market insights, and coordinates stakeholder engagement to inform launch planning and account readiness.

Responsibilities

• Develop account readiness strategies and gather marketplace insights to inform marketing strategy for current and future disease states
• Identify, profile, and engage key medical experts and stakeholders; serve as primary liaison for approved engagement activities including advisory boards and consulting engagements
• Synthesize field insights on customer needs, treatment practices, competitive activity, and communicate strategic recommendations to leadership
• Support congress planning, speaker bureau activities, and coordinate KME engagement at scientific meetings in compliance with policies
• Partner with cross-functional teams on launch planning and commercial initiatives while ensuring compliant stakeholder engagement

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business, science, engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred
• Minimum 7 years in marketing, field sales, or thought leader liaison roles with field experience
• Rare disease and/or nephrology field-based experience required
• Strategic thinking with demonstrated ability to influence across internal and external stakeholders
• Strong analytical skills with ability to synthesize insights and translate intelligence into actionable recommendations
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills for building trusted relationships with healthcare professionals
• Ability to manage competing priorities across large geography with travel up to 60-70%

Compensation: $180,000-$247,500 base
