Summer Intern - New Plants Licensing

About the role:

As a New Plant Licensing intern, you will directly support the help deploy advanced nuclear technology, with a focus on Advanced Plant reactor projects. You will have a unique opportunity to contribute to the licensing and regulatory strategy for new nuclear plant development, ensuring compliance with domestic and international standards.

You will report to the New Plants Licensing Manager as part of the Global Licensing department. This position is located at our Cranberry facility. This is a paid full-time hybrid position for the summer, May - August 2027.

Key Responsibilities:

• Help develop licensing related procedures
• Review plant inputs and support working with engineering and customer
• Perform evaluations of licensing inputs
• Develop skills in planning and scheduling work to meet assignment requirements

Qualifications:

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, chemical, or nuclear engineering
• Completed Sophomore year of college

We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The hourly rate for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $25.40 to $29.00 per hour.
