Travel Surgical Tech/ORT - Certified Surgical Technologist/CST

American Traveler seeks a Certified Surgical Technologist for a hospital OR Surgical Services position requiring 2 years of hospital experience and rotating weekend and holiday coverage.

Work in a 7-suite Main OR within the Surgical Services department. Team includes RNs, CSTs, CST/FAs, and orderlies. Procedures performed include Ortho, General, ENT, GYN, Plastics, Neuro, Robotics, Podiatry, and Dental cases. Preferred experience with Orthopedic totals and trauma, Neurosurgery, and General Surgery Robotics (DaVinci and Mako). Uses Meditech EMR. Variable shift schedule of 8 or 10 hour shifts, with modified weekend hours. Rotating weekend and call coverage required, including 12 or 24 hour weekend call. Holiday hours mirror weekend hours and working holidays is required. No floating to other units required.

Minimum 2 years of experience in a hospital setting required. BLS certification required. NH Medical Technician license required if applicable. CST certification required. General knowledge and skill set to scrub most surgical specialties required. Candidates without general surgical scrubbing skills across specialties will not be considered.

Support surgical procedures across multiple specialties including Orthopedics, General Surgery, ENT, GYN, Plastics, Neurosurgery, Robotics, Podiatry, and Dental. Best suited for candidates who are friendly, professional, and self-motivated. Hospital-supplied scrubs required for dress code. Candidates must live outside a 50 mile radius of the facility and local candidates will not be considered. No gaps in work history exceeding 90 days within the past 12 months.
