This position involves evaluating, treating, and monitoring patients experiencing both acute and chronic respiratory issues within critical care, emergency room, and inpatient settings. Key Responsibilities Administer oxygen and aerosol therapies to patients. Manage ventilators effectively. Conduct arterial blood gas (ABG) tests and other respiratory diagnostics. Respond promptly to rapid response situations and medical codes. Work collaboratively with physicians and nursing staff. Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR). Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control measures. Provide education and support to patients and their families. Requirements and Qualifications Valid Respiratory Therapist license. Experience in critical care and emergency settings is preferred. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
